At the fresh juice station, you can make the most of the fruit trees in your garden! You can bring your own apples to us, and we'll freshly press juice for you. The juice is always pasteurised and packed in 1,5 l or 3 l goose bags, where it will keep at room temperature for about a year. The bags are available in three different shapes, clear (3 l), white (1,5 l) and with apple peel (3 l).
The juice yield depends on the apple variety, but it is usually between 50-70%. Soft powdery summer varieties are in the 50% range.
The juice can also be pressed without pasteurisation, in which case the customer brings their own canisters in which to pack the juice. We do not pack in glass bottles or containers of less than 3 litres.
Apples and fruit may also be picked from the ground and contain bruises and blemishes, as long as the surface is intact! Wash the apples before pressing. However, please try to avoid getting soil, larger grasses, leaves, etc. into the apples.
You can bring apples to us while the fresh juice station is running. If there is no pressing that day, we will keep them for the next pressing. We do the pressing according to the batches of apples we receive.
The apples are weighed on the spot and the customer's details are recorded. Once the apples are pressed, packed and ready for collection, we call the customer and the juices can be collected from the winery.
If possible, we can also press other berries and fruits in addition to apples. For other fruits and berries, the juice may still contain small amounts of apple.
