The village of Venesjärvi is an active rural village of about 500 inhabitants in the town of Kankaanpää.

The distance to Kankaanpää is 12 km and to Pori 45 km. Our village has very good services for families with children.

The village has a school, a kindergarten, a nursery school and an after-school club. There is a popular town beach and a boat dock by the lake. In summer 2017, Lake Venesjärventie was resurfaced with new asphalt. The village centre area is included in a sub-planning scheme, which includes new plots of land. The village has a sewage treatment plant and a municipal water network. A fibre optic cable has been built to cover the whole village.
